Finding "forgotten" issues

When managing a project with a large number of tasks and issues, you may lose sight of several issues whose importance is not very obvious in everyday work. For better control over the project implementation you may feel the necessity to quickly overview the list of issues with the status not changed during a long period of time to re-evaluate their relevance.

Obtaining a list of such issues is easy with WebAsyst Issue Tracker. Just select the required project and task from a dropdown list and click on the "Filters... -> Add Filter" menu item.

Set up the filter using the information provided in the "Setting up issues view filters" article. The filter configuration parameter that needs special attention is Find "forgotten" issues. Enter the number of days in the text field during which the status was not changed for the issues to be included into the list. Remember that the "forgotten" issue search only works for non-completed issues!

After the setup is completed, click on "Save" – this will make the page reload and display the list of "forgotten" issues satisfying your filter parameters. Should the issue list appear empty, re-check its parameters by clicking on the "Filters... -> Modify Filter" menu item, and make necessary corrections.
