When purchasing WebAsyst PHP software, each customer is granted a license.
A WebAsyst license constitutes the right to use the purchased PHP scripts in accordance with the WebAsyst Software Agreement. Each license has a unique number.
The license number is used to unambiguously identify each installed instance of WebAsyst scripts which is publicly accessible at a certain domain name.
To verify legal use of WebAsyst scripts on a certain domain name, according to the WebAsyst Software Agreement, a license owner must activate his or her license, i.e. specify the corresponding domain name in the license properties. This will establish a relationship between each license and the appropriate domain name, and will verify the license owner's right to use WebAsyst scripts in accordance with the WebAsyst Software Agreement.
It is possible that your license is already activated, but there is outdated information in its properties. Please be aware that public use of WebAsyst scripts with a license, which has been activated for a wrong domain name or without specifying a domain name, constitutes a violation of the WebAsyst Software Agreement. To eliminate such a violation and to avoid possible legal prosecution for improper use of the WebAsyst software, the following actions are required:
In this case your use of WebAsyst scripts may be illegal. If you have purchased the software from one of the WebAsyst partners, ensure that the purchased license is transferred to your email address by the reseller in accordance with the terms and conditions of the "Reseller" program.
Should you have obtained WebAsyst software free of charge from a third party and not have a license number, it is strongly advisable to purchase a license for legal use of the software developed by WebAsyst, LLC.
If you have installed WebAsyst on your local computer for educational purposes or for preliminary design setup, or if you have not yet installed the software, you do not need to specify any domain name in the license properties (i.e. activate the license).
