How WebAsyst SMS messaging works

1. WebAsyst sends a message to an SMS gateway.
2. The SMS gateway forwards the message to network operators.
3. A network operator delivers the message to a mobile phone.
4. WebAsyst requests a receipt from the SMS gateway.
5. The SMS gateway confirms delivery and returns a receipt.
6. If an SMS cannot be delivered, the SMS gateway returns the code of appropriate error.
7. WebAsyst keeps logs of all SMS messages sent and bills only the delivered ones.

Connection to an SMS provider

If you have an account in the WebAsyst online services, then SMS connection has already been set up for you and is ready to use. If you have purchased and installed PHP scripts of WebAsyst applications, then you must first set up the SMS connection once to make it work in your account.
