How to run traceroute

Traceroute command is used to determine through which network servers and how fast data are transferred. Information provided by this command is useful for a user to find out why a website is loading slowly. To run traceroute, open the command line window, enter the command shown below and press "Enter":

tracert SERVER_ADDRESS

Example:

tracert webasyst.net
Tip: To open the command line window on Microsoft Windows, select "Run" in the "Start" menu and enter cmd in the pop-up window.
