What is the difference between the three album publication statuses?

A photo album in WebAsyst Photos can have one of the three publication statuses:

• Not published: the album is only accessible from within the administration backend by users who have appropriate access rights to the album (read, write or full access);
• Published: the album is accessible in the photo gallery for all visitors, it is displayed in the list of published albums;
• Published privately: the album is also publicly accessible accessible but only by persons who know its URL (the album does not appear in the list of published albums in this case). This status is intended for private publication, e.g. if you would like to show an album to a limited number of persons, send them a link to the privately published album. Those who have the link, will be able to view the album without having to authorize themselves with a login name or a password.
  

Album publication status can be specified in the account backend inside an album in setup window "Publication settings". This window is only accessible by account users who have full (F) access to the album.

In the album list published albums are marked green () privately published ones are marked grey ().
